These terms govern your use of the Dietly app and website (the "Service"), provided by Abdelrahman Gabr ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
1. Not medical advice
Dietly helps you track and organise information after gastric-sleeve surgery. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice. Calorie, protein and vitamin figures, product identifications and assistant answers are estimates, some produced by AI, and can be wrong. Always follow your doctor, dietitian and bariatric team, and check medication and supplement details against the product label. In an emergency, contact a doctor or emergency services.
2. Who can use Dietly
You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and able to agree to these terms.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. You may sign in with an email and password or with Google.
- Tell us at bedokak@gmail.com if you think your account has been misused.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to access other people's data, reverse-engineer or overload the servers, get around usage limits, or use the Service for anything unlawful. AI features have a daily limit per account.
5. Your content
You own the data and photos you add. You let us store and process them only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party services
Some features rely on other services (for example Amazon Web Services, Anthropic via Amazon Bedrock, Google sign-in, Resend, Open Food Facts, and gym or smart-scale accounts you choose to connect). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and connections to gym or scale accounts are read-only and may stop working if those services change.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Dietly running, but it's provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change or be discontinued. Keep backups of anything important (the app lets you export your data).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for health decisions made using the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Dietly and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Dietly, its design, code and content are © 2026 Abdelrahman Gabr. All rights reserved.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
